  1. Toothpicks
  2. Paring Knife
  3. Strawberries
  4. Blackberries OR Blueberries
  5. Cream cheese (optional)
  1. Remove the leaves from your strawberries and cut them in half. Using your paring knife, cut the top of the strawberry halves to look like hearts.
  2. Use your knife to cut slits in the back of the strawberries. This gives them their “wings!”
  3. With that done, cut a toothpick in half and attach either a blueberry or a blackberry to the rounded part of the heart.
  4. Optional step, use cream cheese to put “eyes” on the bugs!

Love all that you do. I had the opportunity of tasting some of your delicious recipes yesterday at a Family Support Spec. Meeting at the Renton Com. Center that was given by the ever so Awesome ESD Personnel. I plan on sharing all the wonderful flyers/recipes that I gathered with my ECEAP families at Rainier Elem. on JBLM. Thank you!
