Lee Anne Riddle

I helped start the WSU Whatcom Food $ense program as its first nutrition educator in 2003, providing lessons to about 30 elementary children in three after school programs. Now I oversee the program, working with five wonderful Food $ense educators who will provide hands-on nutrition experiences to about 2500 children and 500 adults this year. It is exciting to be part of a program that is so well received by our community.

Currently, the other way I spend my time is as a member of the Ferndale School Board. I am passionate about supporting all of our children in the public education system. I have a BA in Psychology and an M. Ed. in Adult Education. For me, life is all about continuing to learn and then putting what I learn to use in helping others.
