Pamela Lyons

Pamela delivers nutrition education in Kindergarten through 5th grade classrooms at Mt. View Elementary, and 1st and 2nd grade classrooms at Hood Canal School. She has worked with limited resource adult audiences at local Saints’ Pantry and Pioneer Community Food Banks, Behavioral Health Resources, and the Shelton Community Service Office. Pamela also assists in the coordination of the local WSU Extension Mason County Food $ense Program.

Pamela graduated with a BS from The Evergreen State College in 1990. She worked in the environmental engineering field until bitten by the teaching bug. She then taught preschool, and coached and managed youth soccer teams. She is a proud mom of sons 19 and 21.

Pamela is passionate about spending time in her kitchen, cooking and baking. She also enjoys kayaking, hiking, and spending time with loved ones.
