Julie Evenson

Julie started off as a part-time Food $ense Nutrition Educator in 2007. In 2012 she transitioned into the Food $ense Program Coordinator role for Kitsap and Clallam Counties. This program works with students and families, providing them with practical, hands-on activities and resources that focus on how to shop, prepare, store and serve nutritious meals with limited resources. Classes and activities are held in schools, community centers and the CSO office. The thing she loves most about her job is working with various community partners in providing nutrition education and improving access to healthy food for Kitsap and Clallam residences.

When Julie is not at work she enjoys being active, coaching, leading Young Life and spending time with her husband and two children.
